Mittens the cat
In the office helping us to keep on top of the paperwork.

Mittens, who had been one of the longest sanctuary employees, (she had been with the charity for eleven years) has sadly passed away of kidney failure.
She came in as a semi wild cat who nobody wanted to give a home to, so she eventually was employed by the sanctuary (paid in cat food) to be a mouser.

Over the years she became less wild and settled down to fresh fish, chicken and hugs in the staff room. One of her oddest haunts was sitting in the sink, looking down on everyone.
The only person that Mittens really detested was the poor vet who got savaged regularly.
