Midwest Avian Adoption & Rescue Services (MAARS) was founded in July 1999 to provide much-needed services for captive parrots and other birds in the Midwest in cooperation with other organizations around the USA and world.

The first and only preserve in New York. A 501c3 org for the permanent care of exotic birds. We do NOT breed, sell or adopt-out any bird that comes through our doors.
